05/17/2008 It is been a long time since Cleveland's pitching staff got walked on this way. Adam Dunn homered and drew a tiebreaking walk with the bases loaded in the 8th inning Friday night, sending the Reds to their season high 4th straight win, 4-3 over the intrastate rival Indians.
05/16/2008 It was not even a bad pitch that finished the Indians' scoreless streak. An unearned run against Aaron Laffey on his own throwing error halted the starting rotation's run of 44 1-3 consecutive shutout innings, however did not interrupt their string of dominant outings.

05/11/2008 Grady Sizemore gave Indians fans a few extra mementoes in addition to those they received at the turnstiles. With all fans taking home a Sizemore souvenir blanket, Cleveland's center fielder sent 2 baseballs into the seats, too.
05/09/2008 Jason Giambi and the sluggish Yankees suddenly turned sluggerish. The Yankees played home run derby Thursday, with Giambi, Johnny Damon, Robinson Cano and Wilson Betemit connecting in a 6-3 win over the Indians that prevented a 3 game sweep.
05/08/2008 Cliff Lee knows he probably will not triumph all of his starts this season. That does not mean he is not going to try. Lee threw 7 sharp innings Wednesday night to beat Chien-Ming Wang in a matchup of unbeaten starters, leading the Indians to a 3-0 win over the Yankees.
05/07/2008 Turns out, Joba Chamberlain is not untouchable. Pinch hitter David Dellucci stunned the Yankees with a go ahead homer off Chamberlain, and the Indians rallied for a 5-3 win Tuesday night in the opener of a 3 game series.
05/01/2008 A year ago Cliff Lee was sent to the minors and did not make the Indians' postseason roster. Through the 1st month of this season, his story would not be any different. "He's probably one of the best pitchers going right now", Seattle manager John McLaren mentioned after Lee won his 5th straight start, leading the Indians to an 8-3 triumph Wednesday.
04/26/2008 A-Rod ran himself back into the starting lineup. After missing 3 games with a strained right quadriceps, A-Rod was back at 3rd base and batting cleanup Friday night as the Yankees opened a 3 game series against the Indians.
