Why
Indians need some depth in the OF and Saunders can provide that. They also have a lack of defensive help at 1B. With Smoak playing there and Santana at DH it leaves Napoli to come of the bench or platoon with both. When healthy both can give you an additional 25 HRs while giving up a surpluss at SP
Jays could use one more arm to solidify both the rotation and bullpen and the Jays give up their surpluses.

Let's look at it this way:

-Ben Revere brought in one year of a reliever.
-Ben Revere is significantly better than Michael Saunders.
-Danny Salazar is much more valuable than Drew Storen.

Why would the Indians ever make such a trade?
