Okay, let's be realistic. Mike Trout isn't going to be traded this year or next. However, if there is one team that would really benefit from Trout more than any other (considering both talent and PR) and would also enhance interest in major league baseball, it is the Yankees. That said, here is a proposal to send Trout to MLB's most storied franchise.

NYY send OF prospect Aaron Judge, C prospect Gary Sanchez, P prospect James Kaprielian, SS prospect Wilkerman Garcia (four of the Yankees' top five prospects), RP Andrew Miller, SP Luis Severino and SP Nathan Eovaldi to the LA Angels.

Angels swap Mike Trout, plus a couple of throw-ins and prospects, to the Yankees.

No, it won't happen. But is it believable?

No its not believeable, but good thinking process, Judge, Sanchez, Mateo, kaprielian, but the problem after that is the Yankees do not have the quality young arms. Severino stock is massively down. Miller and Eovaldi don't do much for LA unless you look to flip Miller. However that is just my opinion. I would think 2 more high controllable arms would have to come with.

While Trout would be a great addition for them, I don't think the Yankees would trade those guys right now. They are building for the future and they are apart of it: Judge, Sanchez, Mateo, Severino and Kaprielain. Miller will obviously be traded to get more prospects. Eovaldi's stock is down, he seems to be the new Burnett for them.

Batman I completely agree. Yankees would be dumb with how old they are to mortgage their what seems bright future with Judge Mateo and sanchez. all appear to be serviceable at worst MLB players. judge can rake.
