Phillies sign free agents Drew Storen and Mike Dunn for their bullpen and Derek Holland for a starter.

Dunn isn't an FA.

a) yes, Dunn is an FA
b) Holland has a club option that I doubt gets exercised, but why di they want a starter that has been injured for so long?
c) it would be a nice start, but I think they have to do more.

Holland could be had really cheap because of his injury history. That's the exact type of player rebuilding teams like Philadelphia need: veterans who are on cheap contracts.

Yes my bad. Must have had him confused with someone else.

They also should try to get a versatile position player who is a veteran. Someone like Desmond to play anywhere. Their rotation behind Nola Valasquez Erickhoff Eflin and then I could see them going after someone else to be the 4th or 5th starter. Desmond could play left field with Herrera in center and Altherr in right. I don't see them getting a new second baseman yet and I see them keeping Galvis since he is ok and there is no point of bringing someone in who would just end up blocking Crawford who is the SS of the future.

Well they already added Pat Neshek, so hard to say where they'll go this offseason, but they could go this way if they look to sell high on Hector Neris or Edubray Ramos, but I have a feeling they brought Neshek in to actually work with some of those younger bullpen arms. Chips need to fall with Hellickson and if he accepts the QO or not, then they could go for the likes of Holland (I like that idea) or someone like Volquez too for a year and about $9 million.
