I know this may seem unbelievable but I feel like it works. I think Heyward switches to center and they move Schwarber back to Catcher to improve their defense and put Contreres in the OF which they have done before. They also are able to have Zobrist and Beaz and Schwarber and Contreres all in the lineup together rather than choosing a few from that bunch. The trade I think works and I see them bringing back Cogland for his versatility which is something Maddon loves and Smith adds a veteran presence. And I see them going after Holland but I could see them going after Janson or bring back Chapman but I see them going the cheaper rout and getting Holland because there is a very good FA class coming up and soon the Cubs will need to resign guys like Arreitta who will be a FA soon and soon it will be the young guys turn to get their money so they should not go out and put it all in one player I don't think, or at least not this year.

What do you guys think?

How is this unbelievable.

Quite an underpay for Odorizzi in my opinion. With this FA market, starters like that are going to cost to a point where it has to hurt a little bit, not with the likes of Soler. he stinks.

You even said, "I know this may seem unbelievable"

And now you want to know? Why do you continue to waste your time, Sull?

Sull you are a hilarious person. besides the point you said it may seem unbelievable, you should know by know that everything you post is unbelieveable.

Sull, the Cubs would almost certainly have to pay more to get Odorizzi. A guy such as Ian Happ would likely have to be added as the trade is tweaked. Also, moving Schwarber to catcher definitely weakens the defense, and blocks a better backstop option in Willson Contreras.

Contreras is going to be their primary catcher. Schwarber will mostly play LF.

I could see the Cubs and Royals getting together and striking a deal centered around Soler and Wade Davis. If the Cubs trade anyone, it's going to be Soler.

I said it might seem unbelievable meaning how I organized the lineup but I could see them giving up more for Oderizzie but nothing to crazy. I just thought Contreres could move around better in the outfield than Schwarber but I could be wrong. So if they throw a few more lower level prospects in they should get him and switch Schwarber and Contreres positions how does it look?

Again how is it unbelievable again. Or is it just because I was the one that posted it.

Just ignore my spelling ok it isn't my strong suit. Other than that I feel that this is what the team will look like next year.
