How good do people think hamels is? he is 108-83 in his career.
with 9 years pitching in the bigs, that's a little over 2 wins better than 500 every year. c'mon now. no way I would give up the world for him.

Gpack 17 - Get a clue. What does W-L have to do with talent? Hamels is one of the top 5 pitchers in the game today, and he is at his peak right now. He has been extremely consistent (no off years like Lester has had). He has been lights out in the post-season. And his contract is reasonable in today's market. Someone is going to get a true ace - maybe now, maybe at the trade deadline. But they will need to pay for him. Simple as that.
