No one around baseball honestly believes the Mariners will get either Desmond or Tulo.

Desmond will sign an extension and Tulo won't be moved.

Chris Taylor is not good. There have been "Desmond-to-Ms" rumors because of his mediocrity. However, I feel the Ms would be better off just keeping Miller at short rather than wasting prospects on a marquee trade target.
