No I feel like JBJ is going to be our opening day CF dispite all the rumors. Holt is way to valuable off the bench to trade. And Kelly might be their #5 or move to long relief. The sox don't need another starter and we don't have any place for Cronn.
Unless we trade Hanly for him and then Cronn and Shaw could platoon at 1st until Ortiz officially calls it a career and then one of them would switch to full time DH while the other takes control of 1st.

After watching all those Left Fielders they trotted out there last season, along with the quality arms in free agency, I would say they could use JBJ in left. They have the depth for the middle/ back end of the rotation to move forward. If they can snag a Cueto or Greinke and shore up the rotation.

Ethier isn't a platoon player if he was on another team he'd be a starting OF he can hit .280 about 30 doubles and 20 homers and barely strikeout. Dodgers have Kershaw Ryu Anderson McCarthy eventually wood and possibly another ace via free agency. So please tell me where Wilson who sucks by the and is just a wanna be starter would fit in that rotation?
