Holy crap Jays fans are delusional, EE WILL NOT GO BACK TO THE JAYS AND NEITHER WILL BAUTISTA. EE is an awful defender who at this point is a DH only, having him play 1B for 140+ games only makes a team worse I can't believe I have to tell a jays fan that, I watched 0 blue jays games this season and I know that.

Clearly Mambaout you know nothing about Edwin Encarnacion's defense at all. Sure he isn't a gold glover, but he is not a god awful defender. Morales could play 1st base but he is more certified at DH. Do I think Edwin will come back? No, I want him back but it will not happen. Also basically no Jays fans want Bautista back. He can't catch up to the fastball. It's also kinda stupid to say Mambaout that you watched 0 Blue Jays games last year and you know that Edwin is terrible defender. It makes 0 sense, maybe you were talking about is 3B days when he was called E5. But I will agree on one thing, Edwin is better off playing DH for the rest of his career. But he is not that bad of a defender.

I'm not saying I know defensive sabermetrics, I tried to look them up but couldn't find what much meant other than RTOT, average is 0. Good is up to +5 great +10 bad is -5 horrible is -10. Wanna know where EE was? In the -5 range add in the fact that he didn't even play 80 games at 1st, if you have him play 120-140 games at 1B that might go to around -7/ -8. That's borderline horrible, Morales can not play 1B. He hasn't played over 51 games at first since 2009. He would be Worse than EE! I know this because I constantly read baseball sites like mlbtraderumors. They basically said there was no chance at all that he'd come back after Morales that's what everyone has said. Why have 2 DHs? Hey if you want your team to be bad be my guest.

You said Edwin was an awful defender, I will say he is no amazing 1B but he has made some decent plays last year. Stats don't lie as well which I understand but he saved Toronto's bacon a couple of times. If we get him back we would want Edwin at least 100 times at firstbase (100-110). I never said Morales will play 1B everyday I said he could responding to Red Sox guy even though he wouldn't.
