After the 3 team Latos deal, what do you guys think is next for the Dodgers? They certainly have the pieces to get Price without giving up any of their top prospects, but Wood would probably have to be included in the deal. I like Wood and I'd be in favor of keeping him and sending a prospect instead, and I think Friedman is probably thinking along those lines due to how cheap young and controllable Wood is. If that's the case, a deal might look like this:
LAD: Price
DET: Peraza, Guerrero, Van Slyke, Zach Lee
I think this would be the offer from Friedman, and then in the end maybe Chris Anderson goes instead of Lee and another mid level prospect is thrown in. Thoughts?

I know people on this site seem to be pretty down on Matt kemp, but I was wondering what kind of return he could fetch. As a dodger fan I would much rather keep him with Hanley gone, but if there's a wowing package I might change my mind. Assuming the dodgers management takes this same stance of only trading him for a loaded package, what do you think other teams offers would look like?
^^lol seagers not going anywhere, he's the Dodgers future at ss or third. The trade seems a little one sided to me (and I'm a Dodger fan), but Crawford did hit .300 this year. It all depends on how much money is eaten, and with this ownership I don't see them throwing in too much. Also, Sharks only signed for one or two more years (I'm pretty sure one but I could be wrong), so with all things considered its not bad
The Kemp trade is no where near over-payment. Trading 2 of the best rh hitters in the order makes no sense, especially with Uribe who is stellar defensively, very solid and consistent offensively, and a great clubhouse leader and mentor for Puig. Kemp is coming off of a second half where he was one of the best offensive players in the game, and he finally seems to be healthy. If the Upton to Oakland trade goes through as rumored, Kemp becomes the sole available power bat on the market. I don't think it makes sense to trade him, especially with Hanley gone, so if he goes it better be for a great haul. I like Peterson in the deal, but management won't eat most of the deal for a package that he headlines. If they're eating money, walker or Paxton is coming back, and if it's paxton there's going to be at least one other solid prospect. In today's market, the Ms will have to overpay if they want him.
