Red Sox get: Gerrit Cole (RHP)
Pirates get: Henry Owens (LHP) and Yohan Moncada (2B)
This trade happens when Gerrit Cole is off the DL.

I love how everyone thinks that the Pirates are going to scrap this season and start trading their cornerstone pieces, the fact of the matter is, this is just a bridge year into 2017, when we still will have all of our position players returning, one of the best rotations in baseball, and Josh bell and Austin meadows. Anyways, don't write the Pirates out just yet, as quick as a team can fall, they can climb back up just as quick.

Why would Boston trade 2 young conto able players Betts aND bogart for a pitcher who currently can't stay healthy and only has 1 season of priduction. Betts may be the best hitter in baseball right now and his speed/ defence are A+. Bad trade for Boston.

Cole is not struggling to stay healthy, very few DL stints in his career. And the Red Sox would never do this trade, however it is exactly what it would take to get a young ace like Cole.

Red Sox likely wouldn't make that trade, but that's what it will take to land a controllable pitcher like Gerrit Cole.

You really need to find a different hobby, Minnow.
For starters, saying they won't trade player x and the price tag is player x are two totally different statements. The Red Sox won't trade Bogaerts, but then they also likely won't receive guys like Cole, Fernandez, Gray, Sale, etc.
As for me posting, two things:
1. I do. Click my name, you'll see some ideas I came up with. Some were good, some were bad. Such is life.
2. My lack of posting trades doesn't make you any less clueless.

I don't get why you picked another fight on someone else's post. You ought to be ashamed of yourself for that. Quite frankly this post might be bad, but it makes more sense than yours did. This fills an immediate need opposed to something a team will need next year. Its awful in the sense its not enough, maybe awful wasn't the right word to describe it. I don't get why you don't understand my comment on Betts, Moncada, and possibly Boegarts to start as a package for Cole. The only person out of the 3 of us that isn't knowledgeable is you. You're very sensitive (SAWFT in my opinion [if you get that type it in on youtube]), because you can't take criticism on something that made very little sense, and then backtrack on what you mean.
