Tigers get: Andrew McCutchen
Pirates get: Matt Boyd, Stephen Moya, Beau Burrows, Joey Azocar, Dixon Machado, Mark Lowe, PTBNL
Yankees get: David Robertson
White Sox get: Yefry Ramirez, Richard Bleier, Tyler Austin
Nationals get: Jose Quintana
White Sox get: Austin Voth, Jose Marmolejos, Michael Taylor, PTBNL.
1.) 10 Dec 2016 05:56:49
As a tiger fan
Id do that trade
Hes on a 2 year deal worth $28 million and if he plays well and return to his all star level, we can trade him next year and get more
His value is really low but this trade i'd do.
2.) 10 Dec 2016 15:26:15
Perhaps, but those two other trades are terrible.

MLB trade ideas
Red Sox get: Julio Teheran
Braves get: Pat Light, Sean Coyle, Bryce Bentz, PTBNL
Tigers get: James Shields
Padres get: Matt Boyd, Dixon Machado, Anthony Gose, Drew VerHagen, Jeff Ferrell
Orioles get: Jay Bruce
Reds get: Joey Rickard, David Hale, Mike Wright, Henry Urrutia
Blue Jays get: Freddie Freeman
Braves get: Jonathan Harris, Andy Burns, Dalton Pompey, Drew Hutchison, Max Pentecost
Braves get: Billy Butler
A's get: Matt Marksberry
Marlins get: Aroldis Chapman
Yankees get: Jarred Cosart, Marcell Ozuna, Tim Berry, Derek Dietrich, PTBNL
Mariners get: Pat Neshek
Astros get: Shawn O'Malley, Steve Baron.
1.) 20 May 2016 05:27:15
If you think you'll get that much for a rental of Chapman, you're a lunatic.
2.) 20 May 2016 11:16:34
Too little for Teheran and Freeman. I think it may be a little overpay for Shields but that could be possible, Bruce may also need a little more to get him to the Orioles, also not sure where he fits on their team.
3.) 20 May 2016 13:34:12
I see you still have no idea how this works. The Braves wouldn't even consider that package for Teheran. I would think Moncada would have to be the starting point for the Braves. The Tigers are giving up way to much for Shields who could opt out after the season. I think Jay Bruce could net the Reds a better return than what you suggested from the Orioles. I don't really see the Braves trading Freeman. The Yankees aren't going to get that big of a return for half a season of Chapman. And the guys coming back from the Marlins don't really have a spot on the team, at least some of them.
4.) 20 May 2016 13:52:38
Why would Jays give up 4 of the very few prospects they have left for Freeman. A position they don't even need?
5.) 20 May 2016 14:13:56
^^^Freeman would be a monstrous upgrade over Justin Smoak (who is not good) . Plus Encarnacion is in his walk year.
6.) 20 May 2016 23:50:06
check freeman's salary and stats and do the same for Smoak.
Not saying Smoak is better but Freeman is seriously overated and 17 mil a season until 2022.
We have Smoak EE and Colabello when he comes back from suspension.
We don't have the prospects to give up.
7.) 22 May 2016 13:51:18
Smoak is a replacement level player. Freeman is far, far better than that.
Plus, they might lose Encarnacion this year, and Freeman would be better than both Smoak and Colabello combined.
8.) 24 May 2016 19:47:47
Padres won't want Gose. They have a similar player in jankowski who doesn't have a spot in the lineup with Jay in CF and they will have Margot up if not by the end of the year, by the beginning of next season.
02 May 2016 01:38:21
Here is my idea of a Yankees rebuild should they still find themselves in the cellar come June/ July:
Mets get: Andrew Miller
Yankees get: Zach Wheeler, Brandon Nimmo, Eric Campbell, Jeff Walters
White Sox get: Carlos Beltran
Yankees get: Daniel Fields, Zach Putnam, Kevan Smith
Marlins get: CC Sabathia, yankees pay 75 percent of remaining contract
Yankees get: PTBNL
Tigers get: Aroldis Chapman
Yankees get: Blaine Hardy, Buck Farmer, Dixon Machado, Tyler Collins, PTBNL.
1.) 02 May 2016 11:53:24
Surely the Yankees could get better than that pile of turds from Detroit. Chapman is probably baseball's best reliever.
2.) 02 May 2016 15:20:10
1. The Yankees could get a way better return for Miller than that.
2. Why would they trade Miller since they have him under control for a couple more years?
3. Why would the Marlins want Sabathia?
4. Why would the White Sox want Beltran and where would he play?
5. The Yankees could get a much better return for Chapman from another team that actually has a decent farm system.
3.) 02 May 2016 22:06:13
I'm a Tigers fan and I know we'd have to give up more than that. It would be more like this:
Tigers get: Aroldis Chapman
Yankees get: Nick Castellanos, Derek Hill, Matt Boyd and Steven Moya.
4.) 03 May 2016 13:23:47
^your proposal isn't much better than the other guy's.
5.) 04 May 2016 22:59:09
Well, at least it's better than having the headline of the deal from the Tigers being Buck Farmer.
6.) 13 May 2016 01:56:19
Giving up Castellanos for a rental in chapman would not be the too smart for the Tigers.
08 Apr 2016 17:06:48
Yankees get: Julio Teheran
Braves get: Luis Cessa, Ronald Torreyes, Tyler Olsen, Ben Gamel
Padres get: Pablo Sandoval
Red Sox get: Jose Torres, Jose Rondon, Jose Pirela, Brandon Maurer.
1.) 08 Apr 2016 19:04:49
Not enough for Teheran, too much for Sandoval.
The Sox would take a bucket of used balls for Panda, if another team was willing to take on his fat salary and his fat ass.
2.) 08 Apr 2016 20:31:58
Teheran would require more.
3.) 08 Apr 2016 21:43:11
The Braves said no to Soler for Teheran. This is certainly a no-go.
(And seeing as I think Soler is awful, it shows how bad this one is. )
4.) 09 Apr 2016 00:49:41
terrible, terrible, terrible.
14 Mar 2016 21:11:59
Mets get: Bryan Holaday
Tigers get: Josh Smoker, Alejandro De Aza
then
Tigers get: Jake McGee
Rockies get: Alejandro De Aza, Buck Farmer, Blaine Hardy, Dixon Machado, 2 PTBNL.
1.) 14 Mar 2016 22:38:07
McGee isn't going to bring in 6 players.
2.) 14 Mar 2016 23:27:56
Why would the Rockies do that?
3.) 15 Mar 2016 10:55:09
Too much for McGee. The Holaday trade is better.

1.) 15 Dec 2015 23:21:52
Adams wouldn't get Margot alone.
2.) 15 Dec 2015 23:47:17
So, $300M in new contracts in St. Louis? Definitely not the Cardinal way.
3.) 16 Dec 2015 00:22:59
Lynn is out for the year.
4.) 16 Dec 2015 11:32:35
The Cardinals don't spend large amounts of money Yankees27, they build from within.
5.) 16 Dec 2015 14:36:15
You realize Arcia is a top prospect right? Moss isn't worth much at all, nevermind the guy who is the Brewers best Prospect and the #12 in all of baseball. STOP.
29 Nov 2015 04:24:17
I forgot about Kimbrel. so 7th inning would be Clippard. 8th inning would be Uehara and the closer would be Kimbrel. Also I only post the long relief pitcher, the seventh inning guy the setup and the closer.
28 Nov 2015 02:40:55
WAY too early to say who will or won't be in the playoffs next season.
29 Aug 2015 15:36:48
wade davis willbe a free agent^
I meant Stephen Vogt not John Jaso. Don't know why I typed in John Jaso.
Lmao no way we trade Betances, especially not to Boston.
