Brewers owner Mark Attanasio mentioned Wednesday there is flexibility in the team's payroll to get another starting pitcher should the loss of Yovani Gallardo prove too much to overcome. Gallardo underwent surgery Tuesday to repair a torn ACL in his right knee.

Eric Gagne got another view of a blown save, from the bench. Juan Pierre hit a go-ahead, 2 run double in the 9th inning off Guillermo Mota, and the Dodgers overcame a 3 run deficit to beat the Brewers 6-4 Wednesday night and stop a season-high, 5 game losing streak.

One day after manager Ned Yost mentioned he was removing Eric Gagne from the closer's position to allow him to regroup mentally, the embattled reliever mentioned he was ready to start saving games for the Brewers again.

Eric Gagne is back, reportedly for good. After a one day break from his position as the Brewers' closer, Gagne pitched a scoreless 9th inning to save a 5-3 win over the Dodgers Tuesday. However, only as it was all season, Gagne's outing was not without drama.
