There were fireworks again when Texas and Seattle played, for a different reason this time. Instead of flared tempers, they were the pyrotechnic displays sparked by Texas home runs, that included a game winning shot by Ramon Vazquez in the tenth inning as the Rangers rallied for a 13-12 win Monday night.

Emil Brown and the Athletics used an aggressive approach to jump start their offense. Brown hit a 3 run homer and drove in 4 runs to help the Athletics beat Texas 12-6, ending the Rangers' season best 5 game winning streak Sunday.
