Is this a joke? This trade addresses none of the Reds needs and actually weakens the team.

Angels side bad Phillips has a bad contract Cueto not bad. Reds sids great if the angels ecpect don't count on it.

How about the Orioles trade P's Hunter Harvey, Mike Wright and OF Mike Yastrzemski and catcher chance sisco to the Angels for P Michael Shoemaker, Cory Ramus INF Grant Greenand another prospect too.

Hey do the Angels need to blow up their team all of a sudden? With Rochards coming back, they'll be really good next year, with a solid rotation of Richards/Shoemaker/Weaver/Santiago/Wilson and that awesome lineup. They don't need to make any major moves.

With a torn ligament I don't think Richards will be back until at least mid season or even later.
