POTENTIAL HOWIE KENDRICK TRADES

These are a few possible, some unlikely, but possible trades for Kendrick

TRADE #1 (Unlikely)
Trade 2B Howie Kendrick, RHP Fernando Salas, and UTIL Cal Towey to the A's for RHP Jeff Samardjiza

WHY LAA DOES IT: They acquire a front-line starter and they can extend Samardzija and Richards so they have 3-4 front-line starters.

WHY OAK DOES IT: They get a good. maybe been top-5 second-base star second-baseman, a guy that can play everywhere but pitch, including catcher, and a solid middle-inning relief guy.

TRADE #2 (Possible)
Angels trade 2B Howie Kendrick to the Blue Jays for RHP Drew Hutchison

WHY LAA DOES IT: They lose Kendrick, but they get a young-controllable starter in Hutchison

WHY TOR DOES IT: They get a very good second baseman and still have Stroman, Sanchez, Dickey, Buehlre, Happ, Norris, and Hoffman for depth

TRADE #3 ( I have no idea)
Angels trade 2B Howie Kendrick to the Nationals for RHP A.J. Cole

WHY LAA DOES IT: The Angels unload Kendrick and they get a very good pitching prospect in Cole

WHY WAS DOES IT: The Nationals get a good 2B in Kendrick and still have Strasburg, Zimmermann, Fister, Gonzalez, Roark, Jordan, and of course Giolito

Kendrick is one of the best Second Basemen in the Majors, Definitely Top 5. Its going to take a good amount to get him. Oakland would never happen. They will not trade him to a rival. Toronto, I would expect Daniel Norris or Aaron Sanchez. The Angels would push for Norris because he is a lefty. And the Nationals, I don't see them matching up. It would be great if they could get Lucas Giolito but I doubt that will happen. The smartest move for the Angels would be hold onto Kendrick, he is very important to the team.

You won't get either of those two pitchers for one yr of an aging player

Jays give up Hutch and another prospect not named Sanchez, Norris or Pompey and I think this is a good deal for both. Maybe they move the kid they picked from the Tigers in this trade.

Okay, your not going to get a Top Second Baseman for Hutchison.
