Reds-Toronto Trade
Reds Get:
Bautista and Lawrie

Blue Jays Get :
Votto and Cingrani

While a Toronto guy, I don't see the Jays giving up Bautista for Votto.

If I were the Reds I would accept that trade in a second. Not only does it solve my LF problem but it rids me of nine years of Votto's contract. I would hate to see Cingrani go, but the trade would still be worth it.

When healthy, Votto is a top 5 first baseman. He's an on-base monster.

Cincinnati would do better to piece a team around Votto, not rid themselves of him.
