The nationals offered zimmermann and desmond for walker and miller and the mariners said no. so why would seattle do this?

Its a very good deal on both ends. Nationals don't lose enough to lose contention. And get the prospects to win for years to come. However mariners get the necessary pieces to win now!! Seattle mariners 2015 world champions

OR. Seattle can keep Walker and Paxton and just sign Zimmermann when he's a free agent next year and let Iwakuma walk.
