Can you please explain why the Braves would say yes to that proposal? I am quite skeptical.

I'm sure the Yankees would love to sing to James Shields in an attempt to get him to sign. Also ask your self where exactly would Gattis play? And to LBF, they would say yes because they are getting a really good pitching prospect in Severino and a good catching prospect. But this trade is very unlikely.

Braves would love Severino. Ramirez, not as much, but he too would be a good arm to add to the depleted system

That seems fair, actually. I don't think Gattis is all that valuable.
