Trade
Dodgers get Ian Kinsler(Utley and Kendrick will probably leave)
Tigers get Yasmani Grandal, Zachary Bird
The Tigers get another catcher and let Avila walk. They also get a future P which they really need.
Projection
82-80 next year but the Tigers just need to get more money and they'll be fine by 2017 I guess
The reason for the Cespedes signing is that he is still very young and powerful and the Tigers OF would love having him

Don't think Grandal is even available at this point, that's just my opinion. Yasmani is having an great year and offensive catchers don't grow on trees. LA would probably look to either FA or in their farm system.

30 million for a pretty good but not great player. He does not have the numbers to justify him being one of the top paid players in baseball.

None of this makes sense. You are not going to get a top prospect in the off season with just a older 2nd basemen. Second the Tigers need pitching and a third basemen more left handed hitting to balance out thier strong RH hitting. Cespedes says he wants to come back to Detroit no way am I going to over pay for him. I can get a good outfielder in a trade that won't cost me as much and he could be a good LH. Bullpen, SP and left handed hitting top concerns this offseason and a new manager and pitching coach.
