Sox get Hamels

Phillies get Betts - Owens - Margot - Johnson

Maybe throw some low level prospects to Phils as well

No. Betts is not being traded. Betts and Owens and Margot is even worse. I actually think Cliff Lee would be more likely to go to the Sox than Hamels, as he would only really cost money.

3.) The Sox look at Betts as its longtime leadoff hitter, and he could be moved to other positions if needed (such as when Pedroia retires). He is staying.

4.) I do believe Hamels will be traded before opening day, but it won't be to Boston. My guess is either LAD, SD or STL. Maybe a 3-way.

5.) Swihart would be a must in this trade

6.) Probably would be, the Red Sox however refuse to trade him and a few others.

7.) ^^In this trade. Like, with Betts, Owens, and Margot? You're insane. No one will give the Phil's the equivalent of that package, ever.

2.) Which can't be announced until he turns 16 because of the international signing rules.

3.) The Cards have Jaime Garcia, Carlos Martinez, and Marco Gonzalez, among others, that will get shots so they can see what they got.

1.) No way Phillies do that trade. Harrison has back issues. They are not going to want him

The only believable aspect to this is that Hamels does not list the Rangers on his no trade clause. Other than that, not happening.

3.) This is not a real good trade for Hamels. I would think the Phillies would want one of those young middle infielders of the Rangers. And I don't think the Rangers would have a use for Howard. Utley has stated he is not waiving his no trade clause and is going down with the ship so to speak.

4.) I tend to believe that Hamels will be traded over the next couple of months, but it won't be to Texas. This package won't do it.

I also think Hamels is going to require at least one of Texas' major prospects. Either Gallo or Alfaro and then go from there.
