Matt Shoemaker for Kike Hernandez

Why for LAD? They gain some much needed pitching depth and get 5 years of control for Shoemaker who even though he had a sophomore slump after being the runner up for ROY, still had a 1.25 WHIP ranking next to guys like Shelby Miller, Mike Fiers, and JA Happ.

Why for LAA? Kike could fill in for Giavotella and present a young, cost controlled 2b for the Halos.

Don't really know why everyone wants to replace Johnny G, he had the 3rd best average on the team, also pretty sure he was the most clutch player last season, his defense is okay, not great but not bad. All around, he's a great guy to have in the club and in the lineup. He brings a lot of fire to the team.

Love shoemaker I do I betting on last year was a sophomore slump but dodgers don't do that deal.

He pitched well. Lack of run support doesn't necessarily mean it was a sophomore slump.

Dodgers don't make that move.

Shoemaker is a good pitcher. He had a bad year.

Shoemaker blows. And there is a reason the Royals gave up on Johnny g.

LBF, don't you know, everyone wants the Angels' sloppy seconds for legitimately good players.

Them along with the Rays on this site apparently.

LBF, yeah Kansas gave up on him, and he was more productive than anyone could have imagined for the Angels. Also shoemaker has good stuff, just a serious lack of run support last season hurt him. With an improved offense, he should be good for next season.

While Shoemaker had a bad year this past season I don't think they would sell so low on him and would say no to Hernandez.

shoemaker is a below average SP. period.
